“His hand took hold of hers and as she said something low in his ear he (Gatsby) turned toward her with a rush of emotion.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald
After being mesmerized by all the jewelry in the trailers for the Great Gatsby I set out to find a few of my favorite pieces, only to be led straight to Tiffany’s.
I was head over heels in love with the unique art deco style wedding ring worn by Daisy in the film. Almost no jewelry companies make rings like that anymore, and I was sure it had to be an antique. When I found out it was also from Tiffany’s I was very pleasantly surprised.
“It was Tiffany’s spectacular jewels that symbolized the sumptuous fashion and exuberant spirit of the Roaring Twenties. So, when director Baz Luhrmann set out to make The Great Gatsby film, he naturally turned to Tiffany to help create the jewels.” -Tiffany
